Specialist dementia nursing
Person-centred dementia care, delivered with patience, skill and genuine warmth.
Every person living with dementia is different, and their care should be too. At Tregwilym Lodge we build care around the individual — their history, their preferences and their changing needs — supported by a team trained specifically in dementia, around the clock.
What we offer
Qualified nurses on site day and night, providing prompt medical attention and working closely with GPs and community teams.
Our team is experienced in all types of dementia and trained to support both everyday and complex needs.
Compassionate, dignified care so residents can remain in a familiar place, surrounded by people who know them.
We support conditions alongside dementia, including diabetes and Parkinson’s, working with specialist health teams.
Fresh meals made on site each day, tailored to dietary needs, preferences and the support each person requires.
A daily programme of music, gentle exercise, arts and outings that nurture body, mind and connection.
Person-centred approach
As a resident’s needs change, we review and adjust their support so they can continue to live well with us. Our nurses are trained in palliative care, which means families can be supported here, rather than having to move to an unfamiliar place.
Mealtimes
Our kitchen team prepares delicious, nutritious meals on site every day, using fresh ingredients. Menus are planned around residents’ tastes and dietary needs, and mealtimes are relaxed, sociable and unhurried — a highlight of the day.
